PARA LLEGAR A SER UNA MORADA DE DIOS
EN EL ESPIRITU AMEN EFESIOS 2/21
    MUCHAS GRACIAS POR SU SABIDURIA
Y SU MEDITACION QUE NOS PERMITE

  2. Hi Mr. depack i am Loubna i am interested in both the evening lecture you are having in NY, i live in NY., and i am interested in your on-line course. but how to register? and or where to get the information? I did subscribe is it the right way to get the information?

  3. What is the one secret to happiness is to know who you are.
Is to know who you are? Is the one secret of happiness and contentment and loss of fear and joy and creativity and love and compassion and empathy, everything that matters to us as human being comes from knowing who you are.
Now we have to understand that who you we are? according to yoga is not your body, not your mind, not your experiences of the world. Who we are is the awareness, the consciousness in which all experience occurs.
So what is the experience? Experience is thought, experience is perception of the world, sound, touch, sight, taste and smell that by the way include your body because your body is a perception. You are not the same body you were when you were a child. The body you currently experience is a perception and it's the five senses that giving you the experience of this hand, this voice or anything that you called reality.
So who are you? You are the source of thought, you are the source of perception and you are the source of choice. Just remember these three things. who you are? is the source of thought, the source of perception and the source of choice.
So if you read the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali the first sentence is श्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः Which means settling down of the excitation or vibration of consciousness into the source of the thought श्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः.
The purpose of yoga is to discover yourself as the source of everything we called reality because what is reality, what we think and feel, our imagination but also our experience of the world. Body-Mind and world goes together.

  4. I have to add that I found meditation quite difficult – I tried on many occassions, but after I joined Iskon and started chanting the Mahamantra – it became much easier to meditate…

  5. Love it – Swami Shivananda's recommendations are exactly that – ask "Who am I" and u will gradually realize that "Aham Brahma Asmi" – great stuff Dr Chopra!!!
