So rad to hear about the"Business of Design" lynda.com projects. I once met Lynda W. while doing a web training in Ventura with one of my mentors. Subscribed to the site for over 8 years and owe much credit to my early self-employed years because of these training videos. Can't wait to check them out!
I just discovered your channel within the last six months, or so. LOVE IT. This might be one of fave episodes thus far. Thank you for being a business Super Hero!
I just LOVED seeing Chris be fired up over the other guy talking about pricing… it felt like he was taking MY side. I don't want to be a scrub forever, I am on a mission here, I'm going to make MONEY!

Chris Do with the sarcasms 1:26:00 Lol!
48:42 – Pure value!!!
lol Chris, stay on track dude – you are some kind of a role-model for many of us – don't let the h8ters get you on fire xD <3
Aaron… you remind me of Wolverine man – staph it <3 😀
Thank you so much for the Close Caption!! Unfortunately, I do not have wi-fi at home. Will you still allow your channel allow downloads? Thank you so much!! The Futur has been sooo helpful! Love the show! Keep them coming.
Here’s a thought in case it resonates with you Chris: maybe you could qualify your audience, just as much as you qualify your clients. Just as you don’t set out to prove your value to your clients, I wouldn’t go out and try to prove my value to my audience. And as I’m saying it to you, I’m thinking I need this advice myself lol. You’re awesome Chris, keep at it. Cheers from Argentina.
Hi. I'd love a full seo "client" presentation roleplay video made.
I learn best by mirroring from detailed example.I'd love a video. It would be the perfect lesson! Like a full beginning to end roleplay of a "client" (a friend of urs).and you starting the meeting, seo presentation, objections and close. Please do this. there would be no better lesson than a full example roleplay video.
It would make alot of things clear. I don't mind if it gets lengthy. I'd like explaination notes telling me what material you use as you use it.
Opening greeting
Seo presentation
Client Objections
"I need to ask my wife"
"I don't know you/your company"
"I need to think about it"
" Can you lower the price?"
"What exactly will you do for me/us?"
" What makes your company different?"

What is said when and after they sign.
An example of what I mean is below:
Hey Chris – love your videos. I’m trying to find the one video where you were writing on a white board with a class and talking about “being punished for being good” because you finished the job quickly. Can you link it please?
Okay so what is the AMA series standing for? I have been working (non design related job T.T) and missed out on so much T.T
Chris, thank you for sharing your piece of mind with every video. So selfless and noble of you 🙂 Cheers!
It'll be good to have annotations for the callers as the audio isn't great. Thanks for sharing the wisdom!
What are the feedback phases of project you do? For example, I, on my logo design projects send the project's progress after sketch phase, vector phase and refinement.
OMG, I totally feel you about the Ross and Marshalls part!!!!
I'm 'Findable but not by the right clients.

Love it 🙂
This is the passion for my success! Chris your motivation and insight have changed me as a person and you taught me how to value myself as a designer and knowing my worth. We're onto our third international job now while still being on runway (3rd month) thanks to your teachings. It's really paying off and I would like to thank you on behalf of my team back in South Africa. Big fans. Keep it up!
You guys pump my growth 10x. You've ignited my motivation after a long period of stagnation.
Chris, about Matrx, it was just too long to wait between parts. When you watch Matrix as a whole now, it is much more of a single piece. The trilogy+animatrix is bigger and cooler than its seperate parts.
Great content as always! You should publish some of this stuff through your podcast feed (2 hours is a great amount of content for commute to work and back)
