SHOW INTRODUCTION:
Right this moment I’ll be speaking with Dr. Robin Kimmerer. Dr. Kimmerer is a mom, plant ecologist, author and SUNY Distinguished Educating Professor on the SUNY Faculty of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York; and the founding Director of the Middle for Native Peoples and the Atmosphere. She’s the writer of a number of lovely books together with my new all-time favourite on reconnecting us to the pure world and mom earth, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Knowledge, Scientific Information and the Teachings of Vegetation.

And that’s simply what I wish to speak together with her about right this moment, about Indigenous Knowledge, Scientific Information, and the educating of vegetation.

That plus we’ll speak in regards to the significance of saving tadpoles, grandfathers and pecans, why asters and goldenron look so lovely collectively, how squirrels get maple syrup, how firewood warms you twice, why asters and goldenrod look so lovely collectively, a shiny crimson kayak, and what a Louis Vieux Elm has to do with something!
