Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu competition celebrated yearly in honour of Lord Shiva, and specifically, marks the day of the celebration of marriage of Shiva. There’s a Shivaratri in each luni-solar month of the Hindu calendar, on the month’s 13th night time/14th day, however annually in late winter (February/March, or phalgun) and earlier than the arrival of Summer season, marks Maha Shivaratri which suggests “”the Nice Evening of Shiva””. It’s a main competition in Hinduism, and this competition is solemn and marks a remembrance of “”overcoming darkness and ignorance”” in life and the world. It’s noticed by remembering Shiva and chanting prayers, fasting, and meditating on ethics and virtues corresponding to honesty, non-injury to others, charity, forgiveness, and the invention of Shiva.

Maha Shivaratri means “The Huge Evening of Shiva” or “Auspicious darkness”. It’s a night time of awakening. This competition is well known in honor of Lord Shiva.

Might all of your prayers be granted by Shiva! Wishing you a Comfortable Maha Shivratri!
