To accept and live in the present moment still getting some joy out of little things is something u can find in everything… he is so right, i experience happiness by doing yoga and listening to this vid of Mr Tolle, to wright this post, to have an encouter with a dog or… to do the dishes and give urself the challenge (since as Tolle mentioned you better be prepared life got plenty of challenges) of finishing it with standing first in tree on ur right foot and than ur left… or vice versa obv;) The only thing u can do at that very moment is concentrating and breathing otherwise the monkey mind will take over and u wont succeed. Human beings, and we are all complicit, have upset the natural balance of our ecosystem. All living entities are affected by our unconscious footsteps. One conscious being becomes 2 then 3 then all will become enlightened reflecting back the beauty, love and profound magical diversity of our most magnificent planet earth…our source’s very own creations will shine brightly through his essence and onto infinity itself. A most wonderful positive energy to give back to our creator. Loading... Reply Angelo Iodice says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm This nice man sees through chaos and brings calmness and clarity. Reply Ingrid Phaneuf says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm In the moment that I held my newborn dead child in my arms I experienced simultaneous joy and pain. There was no way to experience neither the one nor the other. I was joyful to hold him for the first time. I was devastated by his death and his dead body, the body and personality I had so much wanted to meet and see grow and become – all the expectations and the shock. In that moment I also had access to something deeper – a standstill – an inner peace in the now that was also beyond the joy and the pain. After that moment the stories started and it was very painful for a long time. I am still working on recognizing the stories and leaning into the pain to transform it. It is a continual practice. I guess that suffering was enough to push me to want to stop suffering. I still suffer, and I still catch myself telling myself very painful stories, but I suffer less when I practice consciousness. Reply Zuby says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm As I listen to Mr.Tolle and as I read his books…I wonder …is it really that simple? Can being in the moment and letting go of the ego be the solution to life’s problems…? At that moment I realize, there are no problems…and life is more interesting, and I love Mondays and I enjoy people, and a bad situation is just a situation, and creation is all connected, and there is peace, and a smile in my soul…and I’m ok with being…and I am in a creative mood when I want to create, and worries are rare because they are either past or future…that is, they don’t exist. And when worry comes into my moment I will be present. All I’m saying is that as a suggestion…listen to what this man is saying…share it….accept it….live it…or not Loading... Reply Lightmane321 says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm I'm not trying to be a dick here.I wonder if Eckhart would be willing to, or has, taken up "residence" with a homeless man, to help him learn how to "accept the present moment he's in" and show him how to "move out of that moment" without using any of the advantages that he has (money, food, things he owns, etc.). Could he "be homeless" and get out of it? I want to think he could. Actually watching him do it would be life transforming, wouldn't it? Loading... Reply Robyn Daniels says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm I've had a difficult 6 weeks or so and Eckhart is my go-to guy for some clarity offered with his quirky sense of humour. Just delightful. Today for the first time I woke up feeling happy for no good reason. I think because I stopped overthinking and just let so many things go that irked me – mainly people and my reaction to their negativity. He is right – freedom is a life without reaction to negativity. Thank you Eckhart x Loading... Reply Juliette says: August 13, 2019 at 7:26 pm We are in a dysfunctional World ! "I'm going home now in the rain, but you don't have to go home, because you live in the bungalow ( the bungalow was the school care takers home ).The teacher questioned child, "Why do you think l live in the bungalow? " Child's reply, "Because all the teachers live in the bungalow with the care takers family…..because your cars are parked nearby and you're always here in the morning when l come to school. You don't leave the school (premises) when the children go home, so you must live in the bungalow." My colleagues were amused at the child's simple logic, ( feeling it was funny, sad, enlightening, that the child's explanation, was their strong belief.) A tiny two bedroomed, bungalow, could house ten teachers and the care takers family. In the child's mind, a modern day tardis ( small on the outside, but huge on the inside. ) A bit like my meditation teachers advice, the mind can be empty, it can also be spacious and contain everything.
